Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, also Chairman of the Southern Governors' Forum, has expressed his condolences to Borno State Governor Prof. Babagana Zulum and the people of Borno following the recent devastating flood in Maiduguri.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, Governor Abiodun described the flood as a serious humanitarian crisis that demands urgent support from across Nigeria.
Governor Abiodun acknowledged that while natural disasters are unavoidable, timely intervention from the Borno State and Federal Governments is crucial for mitigating the impact and providing immediate relief.
He extended his sympathies to Governor Zulum and the residents of Borno, affirming that Ogun State stands in solidarity with them during this challenging time and will keep them in their thoughts and prayers.
