Active involvement of political parties in voter registration and results collation is essential for the success of the upcoming Local Government elections in Ogun State, according to Mr. Babatunde Osibodu, Chairman of the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC). He made this statement during a meeting with the 17 registered political parties at the Commission's headquarters in Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta.
Osibodu emphasized that the cooperation and input of political parties at every stage of the Chairmanship and Councillorship elections will contribute to a smooth electoral process. He reaffirmed the Commission's commitment to ongoing engagement with political parties to ensure a transparent and inclusive election.
