The Commissioner of Police in Edo State, NEMI EDWIN has expressed the commitment of the Command to remove illegal firearms across the state ahead of the September 21 Governorship election.

The Commissioner was speaking after arrest of 15 suspects for various crimes as he also called for the cooperation of the public especially with provision of credible information to ensure that the streets were rid of criminals, illegal arms and ammunitions.

EDWIN while speaking to newsmen said that he has been meeting with politicians and other key players in to brainstorm and plan towards making the Governorship election set for September 21 crisis free.
