The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has accused security operatives of abducting its President, JOE AJAERO, and forcefully whisking him away without a warrant.
The NLC in a statement by its Head Media/Information, BENSON UPAH, described AJAERO’s arrest as an unmistakable demonstration of the height of lawlessness being perpetuated by the Nigerian government and its agencies.
The union said it has alerted all its affiliates, state councils, and Nigerian workers, urging them to remain vigilant and on high alert.
Operatives of the Department of the State Service, DSS, arrested JOE AJAERO at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, in Abuja on Monday on his way to the United Kingdom on official assignment.
