Kebbi Beach Soccer Club (BSC), three-time champions of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL), recently presented their three trophies to Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu). During the ceremony, Governor Idris was honored as the grand patron of Kebbi BSC, receiving the team's jersey as part of the tribute.

In a related event, the Kebbi Fishers visited the Argungu Wacot Rice Mill to showcase their trophies to the management. Wacot Rice, which became the team’s official food partner in 2022, played a significant role in supporting Kebbi BSC’s participation in the World Winners Cup in Alghero, Italy, last year.

Kebbi BSC has also been invited to compete in this year’s World Winners Cup, scheduled to take place from September 17 to 22 at Lungomare San Giovanni. This will be the club’s third appearance at the prestigious event, following their previous participations in 2019 and 2023.
