Operatives of the State Environmental Sanitation Corps have arrested 14 individuals in Berger, Lagos, for violating environmental laws.
The offenders were caught crossing the highway without using pedestrian bridges and engaging in open defecation.
This was disclosed by the state’s Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, TOKUNBO WAHAB, in a post on X.
WAHAB said the operation is part of the state government’s efforts to maintain a clean and orderly environment in line with its “Zero Tolerance” policy.
