At least, Six people have died while three others were injured after a  space bus carrying passengers rammed into a moving truck around Verony, Ogere Remo along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The accident  was blamed on excessive speed on the part of the space bus driver after which he lost control and collided with the truck in motion.

The truck driver was said to have refused to wait after the accident.

The Spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun State Sector Command, FLORENCE OKPE, disclosed this in a statement made Available  to newsmen.

OKPE noted that the injured have been taken to the Hospital at Ogere for medical care while the corpses have been deposited at the morgue in Ipara.

Meanwhile, the Sector Commander, AKINWUMI FASAKIN  has described the crash as avoidable if proper caution was fully put in place by the driver.

FADAKIN urged motorists to ensure they give maximum concentration to driving as it is an act that requires such and obey all traffic rules while driving on the highway.
