The Lagos State Government has set up a taskforce to arrest open defecation offenders and issued strict warning to residents against defecating on the roadside.

State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, TOKUNBO WAHAB, made this known in a post on X.

WAHAB said as the Ministry continues the cleanup of the Ojodu-Berger highway as part of its effort to end open defecation, the State government has set up a taskforce to arrest offenders, while urging residents to desist from defecating on the roadside.
