The Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology has reaffirmed its commitment to driving Nigeria’s economic development by harnessing the power of Science, Technology, and Innovation across key sectors.

This was highlighted by the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, UCHE NNAJI during a sectoral retreat in Abuja focused on the implementation of the Presidential Priorities, Ministerial Deliverables, and Performance Management System.

NNAJI who stressed the need for collective action to overcome challenges, develop actionable plans, and deliver tangible results stated that the advancement of Science, Technology, and Innovation is critical to realizing our national aspirations

According to him, collaboration across the entire Science, Technology, and Innovationecosystem is essential for unlocking new growth opportunities, creating jobs, and improving the quality of life for all Nigerians.

He also underscored the importance of a robust Performance Management System to ensure transparency, accountability, and an effective feedback mechanism. 

The Minister added that a well-implemented Performance Management System would translate efforts into real benefits for the Nigerian populace.
