The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, FESTUS KEYAMO has said for the country’s airports to be viable, they must have the infrastructure to support current and future demand.
The Minister who was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Dr EMMANUEL MERIBOLE said this at the 9th Airport Business Summit and Expo.
KEYAMO, who voiced concerns about the current state of infrastructure at the country’s airports, argued that without thriving airports, the aviation industry in Nigeria might not grow.
According to him, airports should be financially self-sufficient.
