The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has blamed the scarcity of petrol on distribution challenge.

In a statement issued by its chief corporate communications officer, OLUFEMI SONEYE, the national oil company said it regrets the tightness in fuel supply witnessed in some parts of Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory.

He urged motorists to shun panic buying as the NNPCL is working round the clock with relevant stakeholders to restore normalcy.
