On Thursday, the Ogun State Government unveiled the newly appointed members to various non-statutory boards, a move made by Governor Dapo Abiodun. This announcement was communicated through a statement from the governor's Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade.
These appointments mark the beginning of a series of personnel changes expected to be announced by the state government in the near future.
The newly constituted boards include:
Ogun Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA): Chaired by Hon. Ajibola Kaka, with members Prince Salako Olalekan, Mr. Iroko Ganiu, Hon. Adefisan Kazeem, Aare Fagade Ajibola, Otemolu Sheu Olakunle, Hon. M.A.O. Akovoyon, Hon. Olubode Mankole, Mr. Olukoya Bankole Adelaja, and Mr. Kadejo Akeem Adekunle.
Ogun State Agricultural and Multipurpose Credit Agency (OSAMCA): Led by Chairman Sodeinde Kunle, with members Olaonipekun Tajudeen A., Akinoso Olusesi Olayinka, Kuye Rasaq Abiodun, Odeyemi Rafiu, Alhaji Agoro Akinlagun, Adeogun Wasiu, Mr. Kazeem Adeyanju, Mrs. Bello Iyabo, Barr. Risikat Sanusi, Elder S.M.A. Akinyemi, and Oyewole Akeem A.
Plantgate Limited: Headed by Engr. Mukaila Olugbuyi Bello, with Hon. Nuberu Adesanya Olufemi and Adeleye Jimo Pelumi.
Ogun State Alternative Medicine Board (OGAMB): Chaired by Nurudeen Olaleye Alawoerin, with members Chief Mrs. Tuke Omotara, HRH Agasagan Awusinu, Chief Kokumo Abiodun Edubona, Alhaja Iyabo Sonubi (Agbebi), Aroyeun Shuaib Ajisope (Onisegun), Prof. Cyril Gbolagade Omisande, Haruna Ishola Elegbede, Alhaji Tunde Abioye, and representatives from the ministries of Culture and Tourism, Agriculture, Forestry, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and Health.
The statement urged all appointees to demonstrate their dedication and work towards significantly improving the performance and impact of their respective boards, reflecting the confidence placed in them by the Ogun State Government.
