Lagos State Governor, BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU, has said that the WOLE SOYINKA Art Theatre formerly National Theatre would be open to the public by October 2024.

He made this known while taking a tour of the facility along with some state officials and the contractors.

The governor said that it is exciting that the refurbished work done around the art theatre has transformed the whole space and edifice into a thing of pride not only for the state but for the country.

While commending all the teams that worked to deliver the project in the last five years, governor SANWO-OLU noted that the renovation and the works done has brought out the old glory of the art theatre.
