Former Vice President ATIKU ABUBAKAR has tackled President BOLA TINUBU over a posted video clip of the President making an appeal to Nigerians to relax the protest, which the presidential spokesman, BAYO ONANUGA later claimed was an old video.

According to ATIKU, the action of the presidency has suggested that the Tinubu administration has adopted propaganda, misinformation and disinformation as a state policy.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, said the scenario says a lot about the character of the Tinubu presidency, the proficiency of his media managers, and the attitude that the presidency accords to the #EndBadGovernance in Nigeria protest.

He said as a matter of urgency, the Nigerian people deserve an unreserved apology from the Tinubu presidency for leading them into a tailspin of misinformation and disinformation and the attendant consequence of bad governance.
