The Department of State Services (DSS) has denied any involvement in the invasion of the headquarters of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Abuja.
The denial comes following allegations by NLC, that the DSS had sent armed men to its office, and that they had carted away some documents.
The NLC said it was not immediately able to ascertain all the things taken away from its offices.
The NLC further expressed its dismay, noting that even during the dark days of military rule, the labour secretariat was never subjected to such an invasion.
However, in a response, the Spokesperson for the DSS, PETER AFUNANYA, said its personnel were not responsible for the ransacking of the labour union’s office.
