In Lagos State, the Government has completed a one-month intensive training for some youths in the state in an agricultural entrepreneurship program.
In a statement on its X handle, the government disclosed that the participants in the programmed had pledged their commitment to contribute to food security in Lagos.
The statement noted that the government led by BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU was committed to improving food production and sustaining livelihoods.
It added that the need to replace the aging farming population with youth trained in modern farming techniques towards improved food production, job creation, and sustained livelihoods remains very key to the government of Lagos State.
