The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), in partnership with the Sport For All Commission of the International Olympic Committee, will hold a Fitness Trainers’ Seminar in Abuja from September 18 to 19, 2024.
This seminar is a follow-up to the 2017 training for State Directors of Sports and is designed for State Sport Councils.
Tony Nezianya, the Public Relations Officer of the NOC, stated that accommodation and meals will be provided for one participant from each State Sport Council.
Additional fitness clubs are welcome to join, but they must arrange and cover their own transportation, accommodation, and meals for the duration of the seminar.
Dr. Abdul Ibrahim, Chairman of the NOC Sport For All Commission, encouraged State Sport Councils to nominate a qualified staff member to attend, emphasizing the seminar’s benefits for participants and their respective organizations.
Certificates will be given to all participants at the event, which will be held at the ANOCA Secretariat in Jahi Area, Abuja.
Participants should arrive in Abuja on September 17 and plan to depart on September 20, 2024. Specific details about the hotel will be shared closer to the seminar date.
