President BOLA TINUBU has renamed the National Arts Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos, after Nobel Laureate, Professor WOLE SOYINKA.

This was disclosed in a letter signed by the president to celebrate SOYINKA in commemoration of his 90th birthday.

In the tribute signed by the President and made available to the newsmen today, President TINUBU noted that the literary giant, is the first African to win the Nobel Literature Prize in 1986, and as such deserves all the accolades for his ruggedness as a person and the significance of his work.

The president also noted that his administration celebrates Soyinka’s outstanding literary achievements and his unwavering advocacy for equity and justice.
