The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), OLUKAYODE ARIWOOLA, has inaugurated 22 new justices of the Court of Appeal.
This inauguration will significantly raise the number of the court’s serving justices to 88, from its current 66.
Meanwhile, Justice OLUKAYODE ARIWOOLA, said the National Judicial Council (NJC) has activated the process of making errant judges who give misleading and conflicting judgements be made to face the consequence of their despicable and odious conduct.
The CJN made this known while speaking at the inauguration of 22 justices for the Court of Appeal in Abuja today.
He described their conduct as an embarrassment to the judiciary and would not be handled likely.
ARIWOOLA however urged the new justices to be upright, not to falter and toe the path of infamy but must adjudicate according to the constitution.
