The President of the Senate, GODSWILL AKPABIO has indicated that the Senate would consider approving the purchase of a new presidential jet if a request is made by President BOLA TINUBU.

Senator AKPABIO clarified his stance during yesterday’s plenary session in response to criticisms regarding his earlier remarks about the aircraft acquisition.

He, however, said that there has been no formal request presented to the Senate seeking approval for the acquisition of a presidential plane.
