President BOLA TINUBU will join state governors at the National Economic Council meeting in Abuja to discuss the new national minimum wage.
Chief of Staff to the President, FEMI GBAJABIAMILA, made this known in Kano while leading a presidential delegation to commiserate with Vice President KASHIM SHETTIMA over the demise of his mother-in-law.
GBAJABIAMILA said the President would be attending the scheduled NEC meeting today, while describing the plan as unusual.
The meeting comes days after the Federal Executive Council, on Tuesday, stepped down the report of the Tripartite Committee on New National Minimum Wage down, citing the need for President TINUBU to further consult with other stakeholders on the matter.
