The Lagos State Government has announced a four-week traffic diversion plan to facilitate the first phase of the rehabilitation of the Adeniji, Falomo and Bourdillon road stretch in the Ikoyi areas of the state.
Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, OLUWASEUN OSIYEMI, announced that traffic will be diverted from Alfred Rewane and Osborne through the Osborne Foreshore Estate axis.
The diversion, which begins today and ends on July 27, 2024, is aimed at enabling the Federal Ministry of Works to carry out the rehabilitation of the asphaltic sections from Osborne Foreshore Estate to Sura Bridge Ramp.
OSIYEMI assured Lagosians that traffic management personnel will be on the ground to minimise inconveniences and ensure a steady flow of traffic.
He also urged motorists to be patient, comply with the officers, and comply with the interventions put in place.
