The Federal Government has approved a salary increase of between 25 per cent and 35 per cent for civil servants on the remaining six Consolidated Salary Structures.

This was made known in a statement by the Head of Press at the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission, EMMANUEL NJOKU.

According to the statement, the increment takes effect from January 1st, 2024.

Similarly, the Federal Government has also approved increases in pension of between 20 per cent and 28 per cent for pensioners on the defined benefits scheme concerning the above-mentioned six consolidated salary structures.
