The Lagos State Government is planning a three-day international conference in response to the rising incidents of fire outbreaks in the state.
The state Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, GBENGA OYERINDE, disclosed this in a statement.
OYERINDE said the conference would be organised by the Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, under the auspices of the state government.
According to him, the fire safety Conference will bring together stakeholders from the public and private sectors to brainstorm and deliberate on ways to end the deadly fire incidents in the state.
