The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has urged Nigerians to contribute their quota to national development by ensuring a peaceful nation as the world celebrates the Eid-el-Fitr.

The NBA President, YAKUBU MAIKYAU said this in a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the association, HABEEB LAWAL in Lagos.

MAIKYAU urged Muslims to use the occasion to pray for a peaceful country.

The NBA president, who noted that Eid marked the end of the fasting period for Muslims, urged the faithful to ensure that the teachings of the period should not be forgotten.
