The spokesperson of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), ZACKS DAUDA, has decried the alarming rate of irregular migration among Nigerians.

DAUDA said that the sensitisation efforts of the agency on illegal migration have failed to deter Nigerians from embarking on such trips.

He, however, noted that the NAPTIP has embarked on massive sensitisation about irregular migration to deter those who want to travel out of the country illegally.

A former Nigerian Consul to Cameroon, Ambassador RASHEED AKINKUOLIE, called on the government to fix the problems of the poor education system and insecurity to stop the migration of Nigerians.
