Senate has passed a bill seeking an extension of the implementation period for the 2023 supplementary budget.

President BOLA TINUBU urged the upper house to extend the period for the implementation of the capital segment of the 2023 appropriation bill from March 31, 2024, to June 30, 2024.

The President’s request was contained in a letter read on the floor of the Senate by the President of the Senate, GODSWILL AKPABIO.
