In line with its fight against terrorism in Nigeria, the Armed Forces said it neutralised 974 terrorists and arrested 621 suspected terrorists and kidnappers across the country in February.

While briefing newsmen on the activities of the armed forces for February in Abuja, Director Defence Media Operations, Major General EDWARD BUBA said several arms and ammunition were also recovered, while 466 kidnapped victims were rescued in the month under review.

He advised terrorists to repent and come to the table for peace, as the Armed Forces will continue to punish unrepentant criminals with overwhelming military force.
