The Lagos State House of Assembly says it has summoned the state commissioners for agriculture and transportation to brief lawmakers on what they are doing to make life more bearable for residents in view of the economic hardship confronting the country.
This was as the Speaker, MUDASHIRU OBASA, warned that protests and violence against hardship in Nigeria would not move the country forward.
According to the Speaker, the hardship ravaging the country was neither the fault of President BOLA TINUBU nor Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU of Lagos State.
OBASA therefore directed that the commissioner for agriculture, RUTH ABISOLA OLUSANYA and the transportation commissioner, OLUWASEUN OSIYEMI, respectively, as well as related parastatals and agencies, be invited to brief the House on their plans to make life more comfortable for the people.
