The fifth edition of the Nigeria Cricket Federation T20i invitational tournament will be played between four teams from February 23 to March 4 at the Tafawa Balewa Cricket Oval in Lagos, the NCF has announced.
Hosts and defending champions Nigeria will be joined by last year’s runners-up Rwanda, Sierra Leone and new entrants Tanzania for this year’s tournament.
Currently placed 19th in the world, Tanzania are in the tournament as the highest-ranked team, as they hope to give Nigeria and 2022 champions Rwanda a run for their money.
The tournament is organised annually by the Nigeria Cricket Federation in commemoration of the International Women’s Day celebration.
