The Lagos state government has commenced the full enforcement of the ban on Styrofoam food containers and other single-use plastics.

Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, TOKUNBO WAHAB, revealed this during a meeting with market leaders.

WAHAB said enforcement officers are going after everyone having the styrofoams in their shops, stores or outlets and confiscate the products.
