President BOLA TINUBU has ordered security chiefs to collaborate with governors to go after those hoarding foodstuff around the country.

This is a result of the President’s meeting with state governors in Abuja on the current food crisis the country is facing.

On the government’s plan to import food to ease the rising cost of food items, the President said that won’t be necessary as the country has the potential to feed itself and even be a net exporter of food items.

The governors also agreed to join hands with President TINUBU to deepen their investment in the agricultural sector so that more food will be made available to Nigerians.
