Nigeria’s Super Eagles have climbed 14 places in the latest world rankings released by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).
The Super Eagles are now ranked in 28th position in the world and the third-best team in Africa.
The Atlas Lions of Morocco are the highest-ranked team in Africa, while the Terangha Lions of Senegal occupy the second spot.
Egypt and Cote d’Ivoire are in the 4th and 5th positions respectively.
The next edition of the FIFA Men’s World Ranking will be published on April 4.
