The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has confirmed a former President of the Senate, ADOLPHUS WABARA, as its chairman.

The PDP BoT, at its 76th Meeting, also confirmed a former Kaduna State governor, AHMED MAKARFI as Secretary in line with the provisions of its 2017 Constitution.

The confirmation of Senator WABARA came about 18 months after he was appointed as the interim chairman of the PDP BoT, following the resignation of WALID JIBRIN in 2022.
