In line with the ongoing strategic re-positioning of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) to enhance professionalism and more effective service delivery to the public, the Lagos State Government began an intensive In-house Training Programme for 309 Junior Officers across Zones.
The General Manager of LASTMA, BAKARE-OKI OLELAKAN disclosed that the re-training exercise was primarily meant to create a new image for the Agency that would guarantee a refined and robust Traffic Management System in the State as well as reduce traffic congestion across the State.
He confirmed that the exercise which would run for four days with the re-training of the first batch of 81 Junior Officers (Males & Females) is expected to end on Thursday, 1st of February 2024.
