Oyo State Governor, SEYI MAKINDE has set up a platform for donations of money to the victims of the explosion which occurred in Bodija, Ibadan.

Governor MAKINDE in a statement, disclosed that his administration has taken steps to support the victims of the fire incident to rebuild their lives and get justice.

He thanked all those who took part in the search and rescue operations at Ground Zero over the past week especially the first responders, medical workers, and security agencies.

The Oyo State Governor thanked the team from the Nigeria Nuclear Regulatory Agency who took measurements at the epicentre and found only normal background radiation doses.

He also thanked the geologists from the University of Ibadan who are taking the seismic measurements from the epicentre.

Governor MAKINDE who noted that the State Government is still collating the details of those affected added that the structural integrity tests on buildings around Ground Zero are still ongoing.
