Super Eagles striker, VICTOR OSIMHEN has been named the Man-of-The-Match in Nigeria’s victory over Ivory Coast yesterday in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigeria defeated the host 1-0 thanks to WILLIAM TROOST-EKONG’s penalty, to brighten their chances of qualifying from Group A.

The penalty was won by the Napoli striker after he was brought down by an Ivorian defender in the penalty box. 

After the game, the Nigerian international stated that he was proud of the team’s win against Ivory Coast.
