The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has called on petroleum tank farm owners in the Apapa area of the state to comply with the environmental safety rules of the state government.

According to a statement, a delegation from LASEPA visited key petroleum tank farms in Kirikiri Town, Apapa, during which “critical environmental issues” were discussed.

The visit aimed to strengthen the relationship between LASEPA and the tank farms and emphasise compliance with Lagos State government standards.

The delegation urged submission of Environmental Impact Assessments and water separator samples, they also highlighted the agency’s commitment to safety and public health through regular inspections.
