The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), NYESOM WIKE, has called an emergency meeting over the worrying state of insecurity in the country’s capital.
Among those present in attendance are heads of security agencies in the FCT, top officials of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, council chairmen, and traditional rulers.
At the meeting, WIKE cautioned the council chairmen to live up to their responsibility while assuring residents of the FCT of improved security.
He maintained that there is a need for the re-strategizing of the security apparatus to tackle the insecurity in the nation’s seat of power.
