Argentina forward, LIONEL MESSI has won men's player of the year at the FIFA Best Awards, with Manchester City manager, PEP GUARDIOLA claiming the men's coach prize in London.
MESSI becomes the first footballer to win the award three times, after previously winning the award in 2019 and 2022.
The 36-year-old has now surpassed CRISTIANO RONALDO and ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI who have both won it twice.
For the 2023 awards, City striker, ERLING HAALAND came second with Paris St-Germain attacker, KYLIAN MBAPPE coming third.
