The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), KAYODE EGBETOKUN has initiated measures to review and potentially improve the pension regime for retired police personnel.
The IGP said the development is to enhance the welfare of police officers, both serving and retired.
According to a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, OLUMUYIWA ADEJOBI this strategic move aims to alleviate the hardships often faced by officers, post-retirement.
He said the IGP remains resolute in ensuring a pension scheme that secures the financial well-being of officers, reinforcing the core values of commitment and service to the nation.
