The federal Government has announced that Nigerian students can apply for scholarships in Mauritius from now to close on April 19, 2024.
The Federal Ministry of Education announced this in a statement signed by the Federal Scholarship Board Management.
Applicants have been directed to obtain a conditional offer from their chosen Mauritian public Higher Education Institution and submit this along with the scholarship application.
They are also required to submit an acknowledgement notice from a Mauritian public Higher Education Institution that the application for the seat has been made and the appropriate application fees have been paid.
Regarding the eligibility criteria, candidates must be Nigerians, and undergraduates should be above 18 years of age and should not have reached their 26th birthday by January 1, 2025.
For the postgraduate degree, candidates should not have reached their 40th year birthday by January 1, 2025, while their health certificates are important from recognized Government Hospitals.
