Nigeria’s official 40-man provisional squad for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire has been unveiled by the Confederation of African Football.

The Super Eagles provisional list is made up of six goalkeepers, 13 defenders, eight midfielders, and 13 forwards.

The 40-man squad will be trimmed down to 27 players who will represent the country at next year’s tournament in Côte d’Ivoire.

The Super Eagles are in Group A with Côte d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.
