The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), in an enforcement operation has impounded 78 trucks for indiscriminate parking in the Apapa-Ijora area of the state.

This was disclosed in a statement made available to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer, LASTMA, ADEBAYO TAOFIQ.

According to the statement, the vehicles were impounded by LASTMA officers in conjunction with relevant security agencies to ensure smooth and seamless traffic for Lagosians during this festive season and beyond.

The statement reiterated that the enforcement actions will be ongoing and indiscriminate parking and obstructions in the axis will not be tolerated.
