The President of the Court of Appeal, Justice MONICA DONGBAN-MENSEM has relocated the Kogi Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal from Lokoja to Abuja.

A statement by the Secretary of the Tribunal, DAVID UMAR MIKE, said that its sittings would now be at the National Judicial Institute on Umar Yar’Adua Way, Abuja.

The relocation follows the confirmed attack on the Secretary of the State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal by gunmen.

A statement issued in Lokoja by the Kogi Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, WILLIAMS OVYE-AYA, said the secretary was attacked along two other persons on the day.
