The Gambia, Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone have arrived in Lagos to compete at the West African Scrabble Championship, which begins today in Lekki. 

The Nigeria Scrabble Federation picked a 21-man team for the championship, with defending champion, ETA KARO, in the list.

The championship has a 12,000 dollar prize money for the top 10 individuals and top three teams at the event.
