The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice JOHN TERHEMBA TSOHO, has released new postings for the court’s judges to various divisions across the country following the appointment of 23 new judges.
This was contained in a statement by the Assistant Director (Information) of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, CATHERINE OBY CHRISTOPHER.
The Chief Judge directed the affected judges to report at their duty stations before the date of resumption from the Christmas vacation.
Meanwhile, the judges of the Federal High Court will go on Christmas vacation from December 18.
The Chief Registrar of the Federal High Court, SULAIMAN HASSAN, in a public notice, said the judges would resume sitting on January 8, 2024.
HASSAN, however, said that Abuja, Lagos, and Port-Harcourt Judicial Divisions would be opened to the public only for matters relating to enforcement of fundamental rights; arrest or release of vessels and matters that concern dire national interest.
