Seven Super Falcons players have been nominated for the 2023 CAF Player of the Year award.

The Super Falcons players are current holders of the CAF Player of the Year award ASISAT OSHOALA, CHIAMAKA NNADOZIE, RASHEEDAT AJIBADE and CHRISTY UCHEIBE.

Others are UCHENNA KANU, OSINACHI OHALE and TONI PAYNE.

In the Young Player category are DEBORAH ABIODUN, ESTHER AJAKAYE and TOSIN DEMEHIN.

Meanwhile, Nigeria is also in the race for the Best Women’s team for 2023.

The award ceremony will be held on December 11 in Marrakesh, Morocco.
