The Lagos State University (LASU) has sacked Professor TAJUDEEN OLUMOKO from his position as Dean of Student Affairs following allegations of certificate racketeering.
The management of LASU made this known in a statement signed by its spokesperson, OLUWAYEMISI THOMAS-ONASHILE.
The spokesperson said that the management of the institution had promptly brought the original allegations to the attention of general law enforcement authorities, including the office of the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions.
According to the spokesperson, the authorities have not yet concluded their investigations but maintained that the LASU management does not take such matters lightly.
She added that the university’s inquiries into the allegations will be concluded before the end of the year 2023 and the outcome of the inquiry will be published with appropriate action taken.
