The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, PETER OBI has said the Supreme Court judgment dashed the hopes of a majority of Nigerians by sacrificing justice for political expediency.

OBI gave this recommendation during a press conference in Abuja.

According to him, the judgement is a show of unreasonable force against the very Nigerian people from whom the power of the citizens is drawn.

The LP standard bearer, however, noted that as democrats, he and his Vice Presidential candidate, Dr DATTI BABA-AHMED, have exhausted all legal means to challenge the 2023 general elections.

PETER OBI also noted that the party is now ready to take the message of a new Nigeria to the grassroots.

He maintained that his dream for a new Nigeria has not ended with the October 26, 2023, verdict of the Supreme Court.
